School Consultation

Upon the parents’ request, our BCBAs will:

  • Review your child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) to ensure it accurately reflects their specific needs.

  • Assess whether the established goals are relevant and evaluate the effectiveness of current accommodations and procedures.

  • Offer clear, actionable feedback to help families improve understanding and alignment with their child’s educational plan.

Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) provide valuable support during IEP meetings by offering expert insights, comparing goals, collaborating with school teams, and suggesting effective classroom strategies.

BCBAs also conduct classroom observations and create detailed reports, which are shared with both families and educators to foster a unified approach to your child’s growth and success.

Collaboration in Action

Our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) actively collaborate with private therapists involved in your child’s care, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all treatment settings.

Working alongside Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), BCBAs develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to enhance language, communication, social skills, community safety awareness, self-care, and overall behavior.

Recognizing the vital role of caregivers, we are committed to providing families with the support and guidance needed to reinforce and sustain their child’s progress. By empowering caregivers with the tools and confidence to maintain learned skills, we help foster long-term success beyond therapy sessions.

FAQ

Do we have a waiting list?

We do not have a waitlist because we do not want families waiting for services. If you contact us and we do not have availability in your area at that time, we will provide you resources to help you find providers who are available in your area. We are always recruiting and training new talent, so feel free to check back and see if availability has opened up after some time.

Do we use the VB-MAPP and/or provide VB instruction?

Yes! The majority of our therapists utilize the VB-MAPP assessment to assess children with deficits in the area of communication. The assessment is then used to create the communication goals needed and VB instruction is utilized to teach those skills. Learn more about the VB-MAPP here.

How Does In-Home ABA Therapy Work?

In-home ABA therapy helps people with autism and other challenges by teaching important skills in a familiar place—their home. A specialist, called a BCBA, starts by figuring out what the person needs and creates a plan with clear goals. A trained helper, called an RBT, works with the person during fun and interactive sessions to teach things like communication, social skills, and good behavior. Families are involved too, learning ways to support progress between sessions.

The therapy focuses on making sure the skills learned at home can be used in other places, like school or during outings. Progress is tracked through notes and data, and the plan is updated regularly to keep things on track. Supervised by the BCBA, in-home ABA therapy is a flexible way to help people build life skills and reach their goals.

How long do children typically need ABA therapy?

This is really determined on a child-by-child basis and cannot be determined by anyone but the BCBA and treatment team working with your child. ABA is an on-going therapy that can change and grow with your child to cater to their ever-changing needs as they continue to grow older.
