School Consultation
Upon the parents’ request, our BCBAs will:
-
Review your child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) to ensure it effectively addresses their unique needs.
-
Evaluate the relevance of the established goals and assess how well current accommodations and strategies are supporting your child’s progress.
-
Provide clear, actionable feedback to help families better understand and align with their child’s educational plan.
Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) play a key role in IEP meetings by offering expert insights, reviewing goals, collaborating with school teams, and recommending strategies for success in the classroom.
Additionally, BCBAs conduct classroom observations and compile detailed reports, which are shared with families and educators to create a cohesive plan for your child’s development.
Collaboration in Action
Our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) work closely with private therapists involved in your child’s care, ensuring a consistent and effective approach across all treatment environments.
In collaboration with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), BCBAs create and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on improving language, communication, social skills, community safety, self-care, and overall behavior.
Understanding the essential role of caregivers, we are dedicated to equipping families with the guidance and support needed to reinforce their child’s progress. Do we have a waiting list?
We do not have a waitlist because we do not want families waiting for services. We are always recruiting and training new talent, so feel free to check back and see if availability has opened up after some time.
Do we use the VB-MAPP and/or provide VB instruction?
Yes! The majority of our therapists utilize the VB-MAPP assessment to assess children with deficits in the area of communication. The assessment is then used to create the communication goals needed and VB instruction is utilized to teach those skills. Learn more about the VB-MAPP here.

How Does In-Home ABA Therapy Work?
In-home ABA therapy helps people with autism and other challenges by teaching important skills in a familiar place—their home. A specialist, called a BCBA, starts by figuring out what the person needs and creates a plan with clear goals. A trained helper, called an RBT, works with the person during fun and interactive sessions to teach things like communication, social skills, and good behavior. Families are involved too, learning ways to support progress between sessions.
The therapy focuses on making sure the skills learned at home can be used in other places, like school or during outings. Progress is tracked through notes and data, and the plan is updated regularly to keep things on track. Supervised by the BCBA, in-home ABA therapy is a flexible way to help people build life skills and reach their goals.
How long do children typically need ABA therapy?
This is really determined on a child-by-child basis and cannot be determined by anyone but the BCBA and treatment team working with your child. ABA is an on-going therapy that can change and grow with your child to cater to their ever-changing needs as they continue to grow older.
