Summer Programs at Verbal Beginnings!

Summertime at Social Beginnings offers a unique opportunity for children to enjoy a therapeutic experience, while learning valuable social skills at the same time. Our summer program seeks to use a variety of themes and activities in order to teach your child how to navigate the complicated playground that is social skills. Through educational opportunities that extend from fun social skill lessons to outdoor games and adventures, the Social Beginnings’ program is lasting friendships with their peers.

Our curriculum is designed to target a variety of skills such as communicating with peers, cooperative play, perspective taking, problem solving, managing emotions, and more! Children will be grouped with similar aged peers with similar social levels. Each classroom will have a small student:staff ratio to allow for a closer understanding of each child’s social strengths and needs.

• Group-based instruction
• Structured social activities
• Supported free play to build independent social skills
• In-house field trips with social learning opportunities
• Parent training and progress notes
• In-network with most local insurance providers!

Participants must commit to the majority of the sessions in order to gain the most out of the experience. Groups are led by experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts and behavior technicians.
