Setting up an in-home ABA program for your child is easy given the right supports. Typically, a program is viewed as therapy provided by a BCBA and a Registered Behavior Technician. These positions are the heart of your program and should require your full attention. However, the process of setting up and managing your program requires a comprehensive approach of managing providers, authorizations, insurance billing, provider education, hiring, recruiting and tracking required paperwork and timelines. These are the supports and backbone of your program and should not be the focus of your role. At Verbal Beginnings, we become your backbone and allow you to focus on your child’s therapy and progress.
A few things, however, are needed from you to get started. If ABA therapy will be reimbursed by insurance an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis will be required. This can be acquired in multiple ways but should be obtained from a developmental pediatrician or licensed psychologist. After a diagnosis is obtained, starting is as easy as giving us a call, checking availability for your schedule and completing our intake paperwork.
When your part is done we take care of the rest: finding, training, and managing providers, ensuring continuing education of providers, managing quality of work and tracking progress outcomes. This is organized on our behalf to ensure that you are happy with our services and management of all administrative responsibilities.
It is important that you have the time to focus on your child and become an important player on their treatment team. That’s why we’re here.
