“I started at Verbal Beginnings as an ABA technician about a year after the company started. I worked on a case that was really amazing. When we started with this child, he wouldn’t talk. By the time I left the case, he could verbally communicate and had a large repertoire of mands and tacts. At the time, I had a full-time job as an Assistant Behavior Specialist at a school for Autism, and after getting a taste of the in-home world, I was hooked! I also saw the ability to actually be able to do ABA without some of the limitations that a school setting poses, so it was important to me to get my BCBA and switch into a consulting role as soon as possible.”
“I had already completed my Master’s degree, so once I passed my exam, I came on-board full-time with Verbal Beginnings. My case load grew rapidly, and I took clients in all different areas. Eventually, my role expanded into a Clinical Coordinator, where I would review treatment plans and make sure they met the company standard along with still tending to my own case load! As the role progressed, I helped oversee the BCBAs along with several additional responsibilities. After that, I moved from the Clinical Coordinator role into a new position as the Vice President of Operations. It was so exciting! I loved growing with the company so much.”
“I love that I have been able to be part of the exciting growth at Verbal Beginnings – from a company of 5 to a company of over 150 employees!
